Diana M. Reeves: Piano & Vocals

About: From the early age of 4 until now I have been extremely and very fortunate to have traveled working teaching as well as performing over much of this Nation because of the gift of Music.
I have performed for persons such as President Bill Clinton, and others I have been contacted to perform for events which have included special guest Hillary Clinton as the speaker. I have been asked to perform at the Madison Square Gardens. I have also been asked to serve as special guest in preparing specialty Music college gospel classes for special events.
And too I have ministered or worked with religious musical icons as TD Jakes, Rod Parsley, Donnie McKurklin, Beverly Crawford, Tremaine Hawkins James Cleveland, Douglas Miller, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Phil Driscoll and the list goes on.
While living in Detroit, MI I served as Minister of Music for a church which had only 10 youth in their youth choir. And by my second month in office serving as the Director of Music and Chief Musician I watched that same choir grow to well over 250 young people.
In the year 2000 I was contacted by the Buffalo Board of Education and asked if I would except a full-time position as their Floater Music Teacher. I was accepted having NO degree or certification. And in that position I served the Board of Education for over 3 years.
In the past 15 years I've served approximately 100 new young children between the ages of 3 1/2 - 13 years of age every school year daily teaching them through creating, writing, arranging, miming, monologues, dialogues, poetry, comedy, dance (jazz, modern, ragtime, gospel, etc.)., ..all under the gift of Music.
The gift of Music is of the "soul" and it is filled with so much color which touches the heart. Yes, Music is the gift that keeps on giving.
Music is only welcoming to all, everyone across the lands and seas. Music is why I am music is who had come to be in music will always be and always live within me
